Our expansive range of cake drums and boards come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colours & depths.
There are 4 main types:
a) Cute Edge Cards - Cut straight from food safe board, the depth of these boards is 1.4mm
b) Single Thick Cards - Turned silver edged cake cards, with a depth of 1.7mm
c) Double Thick Cards - Turned silver edge cake cards with a depth of 3mm
d) Cake Drums - Turned silver edge cake drums with a depth of 12mm.
The heavier the cake, the thicker the drum that is required.
Any of the cards can be used for tiered cakes.
To calculate the number of metres of ribbon required for the boards, add together the diameter in inches and divide by 12.
