08/12/2011 I am making a cake for a friend for christening and want to use Marzipan, this Marzipan you are selling-can I use this in the cake,and I am making 14in cake on the bottom and 10in on the top.How many pounds of Marzipan do you think I need?Can you please let me know so I can order the right amount.Thank you - Sugarshack says: I would recommend you using 3kg for both cakes.
8" =750g
14" =2.25kg
This is for a round cake, i would add another 500g on if you making them square.
