Chocolate Mug Cake

We have a lot of easy and quick recipes. This ones beats them all. This Chocolate Mug Cake is ready in the blink of an eye. Perfect for those moments when you want cake but you can’t justify making a whole one nor do you have the energy. Give it a go, you won’t regret it.

A small pale pink mug with a muffin top chocolate cake popping out it's top with a small drip on the righ hand side next to the handle. The cake is sprinkled with icing sugar. Next to the mug is a teaspoon with a gingham patterned pink handle.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsps plain flour
  • 3 tbsps caster sugar
  • 2 tbsps cocoa
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsps oil
  • Tiny splash of vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsps milk

Method:

  1. Place the flour, sugar and cocoa into a large microwaveable mug.
  2. Add in the egg, oil, vanilla extract and milk then mix until smooth.
  3. Microwave for 2 minutes at 800W.
  4. Best eaten warm.
  5. Enjoy!
